Donald G. Krauth

Donald Krauth, age 52, of Barnesville, MN, passed away on Tuesday, May 14, 2013 at Sanford Hospital in Fargo, ND. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, May 17, 2013 at Dobmeier Funeral Home Chapel in Barnesville, MN. There will be a visitation one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Donald Gregory Krauth was born on December 11, 1960 in Wheaton, MN to Donald and Stacey (Golzien) Krauth. The family moved to Sioux Falls, SD shortly after his birth, where he attended grade school. The family later moved to Connecticut, where he graduated high school. After graduation, Donald joined the US Navy, and served two years. After his honorable discharge from the service, he worked as a mechanic in Connecticut. Donald married Jody Young in 1999 at Baker Presbyterian Church in Baker, MN. They have resided in Barnesville since. Donald was an avid hunter and fisherman, and also enjoyed working on cars, and spending time with his family. He was a passionate supporter of the NRA, and a member of the Barnesville Rod and Gun Club. Donald is survived by his wife, Jody, Barnesville; two sons, Jesse Krauth, Fargo, and Robert (Elizabeth) Krauth, North Carolina; Mother, Stacey Krauth, Texas; three grandsons, Jace, Dominic, and Daniel; Brothers, David (Sandra) Krauth, Sioux Falls, Butch (Susie) Krauth, California, Kathy Krauth, Chicago, Robert (Sandra) Krauth, California, and several nieces and nephews.
