Jeffrey A. Lueck, age 45, of Barnesville, Minnesota died Tuesday, May 8, 2012 due to injuries from a car/pedestrian accident north of Barnesville. Jeffrey Alan Lueck, was born November 7, 1966 in Newport, Rhode Island the son of Wallace and Dianne (Sperl) Lueck. Jeff served in the United States Navy for two years. Jeffrey was a master sailor and sailed to Cuba and many places in the Caribbean. He lived in the Bahamas for a number of years and oversaw building construction on the island of Wax Cay. Jeffrey also lived in Park City, Utah for a couple of years where he worked as a Ski Instructor. One of Jeffreys greatest passions was parasailing and he traveled many times to Utah to enjoy this adventure. The love of Jeffs life were his three dogs, Petey, Bug and Shady; they were always together. Jeff is survived by his father, Wallace Lueck and his wife Diane Lynn of Fargo, ND and his mother Dianne (Sperl) Luksik and her husband Norman of Osage, MN; sister, Rebecca Lueck and her fianc, Jon Rosenson of Berkeley, CA; niece, Sarah Grace and nephew, Alex; Norman Luksiks children and families, Randy and Pam Hovde of Wahpeton, ND, Joe and Cyndee Luksik of Brainerd, MN, Mike and Deb Luksik of Otsego, MN and Jason and Andrea Luksik of Browerville, MN; Diane Lynn Luecks children, Jaqueline and Lisa and families. He was preceded in death by his grandmothers, June Lueck of New Ulm, MN and Dorothy Kuehn of Osage, MN; grandfather, Russell Sperl of New Ulm, MN and step-grandfather, Roman Kuehn of New Ulm, MN; and uncle, Jerry Lueck of Bloomington, MN. Blessed be the memory of Jeffrey Alan Lueck. Memorial Services: 2:00 pm Tuesday, May 15, 2012 in the Dobmeier Funeral Home Chapel, Barnesville, MN. Visitation will be one hour prior to services in the funeral home.
