Lindon Ole Krull, age 89, a resident of Barnesville, Minnesota, died on Wednesday, October 31, 2012, at Sanford Hospital in Fargo, ND. Lindon Herman Krull was born on April 29, 1923 to Carl Herman and Alvina (Hukriele) Krull in Bertha Township, Todd County, MN. At the age of six years old his mother died and he was raised by his aunt and uncle Sam and Ben Odinettle. He attended school in Bertha-Hewitt area. Ole worked as a young boy farming before entering the US Army in 1945. He served his country honorably for two years. Upon discharge, Ole made his home in Barnesville, MN. He worked at Deep Rock, for area farmers and drove semi truck. He was married to Donna Mae Ashbaugh and to this union five children were born. Ole worked for the Burlington Railroad on the Bridges and Buildings Crew from 1966 until retiring in 1982. After retiring, Ole worked for a friend driving truck. If his grandchildren were looking for him, they knew to look at the Wagon Wheel Restaurant or at Lyle Millers Shop. He loved his grandchildren and was grandpas taxi service. He enjoyed watching old western television including Gunsmoke and Bonanza. He is survived by four children: Cindy Krull, Dilworth, MN, Ray Krull, Barnesville, MN, Rick (Lori Axdahl) Krull, Moorhead, MN, Jim Krull, Grafton, ND, Grandchildren: Dana Krull, Renata Krull, Kyle Krull, Desiree (Nathan) Erickson and her children Shayna and Shelby, Sarah (Jose) Feliciano and her children Christopher, Manuel, and Olivia, Heather (Alex) Sanchez and her children Preysaya, Ryott, and Reyn; Marissa Krull and her son Kason, Levi Krull, Jennifer Liljequist and her children Rosetta and McKayla, Trevis (Jennifer) Ekberg and his son Corbin, Torie Krull and his son Chandler; Tanasha Krull, and Natasha Krull. Ole was preceded in death by an infant son Duane Krull, his parents, two brothers Raymond and Walter Krull. Visitation: Visitation will be from Noon-2:30 PM at St. James United Church of Christ, Barnesville, MN.
