Bruce A. Scheffler

Bruce A. Scheffler, 57 of Carlos, Minnesota formerly Barnesville, Minnesota died Monday, August 3, 2009 in his home in Carlos. Bruce, son of Clarence Scheffler and Arlene (Flaten) Scheffler, was born October 18, 1951 in Moorhead. He began school and grew up in Barnesville. He attended several special schools in Minnesota where he met many wonderful friends who all loved Bruce and treated him very well. Bruce enjoyed baseball and many other sports. He is survived by his mother, Arlene of Moorhead and his father Clarence of Barnesville. He is also survived by two sisters, Pam Skogen of rural Barnesville and Vickie (Paul) Johnson of Barnesville; two brothers, Joel (Kathy) Scheffler of rural Barnesville and Lyle Scheffler of Elbow Lake, Minnesota; seven nieces and nephews, Ronnie Scheffler of Fargo, Brian (Danielle) Scheffler of Barnesville and their daughter Clair, Jeremy (Tara) Skogen of New York Mills, Minnesota and their children, Bryce, Brenna, Brooklyn and Brandi, Paul (Elizabeth) Johnson Jr. of rural Barnesville and their son Thomas, Dustin Johnson of Des Moines, Iowa, Brandy Scheffler of Fargo and Jeana Scheffler of Barnesville. Bruce is preceded in death by his brother Douglas Scheffler and his brother-in-law Bruce Skogen. Visitation: will be Thursday from 11:00 " 1:00 in the Dobmeier Funeral Home, Barnesville.
