Kim D. Dilbeck, 52 of Fargo, North Dakota formerly Barnesville, Minnesota died Thursday, November 26, 2009, at the age of 52, in his home in Fargo. Funeral service will be Wednesday, December 2, at 11:00 in Dobmeier funeral Home, Barnesville with Pastor Wendy Ward officiating. Visitation will be two hours before the service at the funeral home. Interment will be in Rosemound Cemetery, Barnesville. Kim, son of Linn Meyerdirk and Mitzi Dilbeck, was born June 29, 1957 in Memphis, Tennessee. He moved to Barnesville when he was an infant where he attended school and grew to manhood. He graduated from Barnesville High School in 1975. Kim spent most of his life in the construction trade working and living in North Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia and Ohio. Kim married Susie George on February 17, 1981. In 1999 Kim moved back to the area where he lived in Fargo. He continued to live there until the time of his death. Kim collected many thing including sports cards and coins. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, especially fishing in the ocean. Kim enjoyed playing pool and was rather good at it. He is survived by two sons, William Dilbeck of Newport, North Carolina and Daniel (Michelle) Dilbeck of New Bern, North Carolina; two grandsons, Tylor and Ebin Dilbeck; his special friend, Betty Hoppe of Fargo; one sister, Mary Marzette (Alan) Doughtie of Moorhead City, North Carolina; two brothers, Craig (Marcia) Dilbeck of Barnesville and Keith (Gloria) Dilbeck of Wellston, Ohio. He is also survived by his father, Linn Meyerdirk of Abilene, Texas; one half-brother, Billy Meyerdirk of Texas; one half-sister, Theresa Crewse of Texas and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
