Roger L. Heimark, 53, of Moorhead, Minnesota died Saturday, January 10, 2009 in MeritCare Hospital, Fargo. Funeral Services will be Wednesday at 11:00 in Dobmeier Funeral Home, Barnesville with Pastor Wendy Ward officiating. Pallbearers will be Brad Wischnak, Billy Wischnak, Chris Moser, Dale Ladwig and Nick Heimark. Visitation will be Tuesday, from 4- -8 with a prayer service at 7 in the Funeral Home, and on Wednesday, from 9 " 11. Interment will be in Lake Ida Cemetery, Cormorant Township, Becker County, Minnesota. Roger, son of Morgan and Adeline Heimark, was born August 15, 1955 in Pelican Rapids, Minnesota. In 1961 he moved with his family to Downer, Minnesota. He attended school and grew to manhood in the Barnesville " Downer area. Roger worked for the Sun Valley Sun Flower Plant in St. Benedict, North Dakota for many years until illness forced him to quit. He married Mary Dutts on January 20, 1984. He is survived by two daughters, Samantha Heimark and Crystal Heimark both of Fargo; five brothers, Ardean (Loretta) Heimark of Hinkley, California, Melvin (Annette) Heimark of Sabin, Minnesota, Morgan (Jenny) Heimark of Sabin, Lawrence Heimark of Barnesville, and Harvey Heimark of Fargo; five sisters, Betty Wischnak of Detroit Lakes, Deloris (Stan) Severtson of Moorhead, Joyce Priem of Fergus Falls, Sandy Abraham of Vero Beach, California, and Anita (Larry) Ray New Era, Michigan He is preceded in death by his parents; one brother Harold; two sisters, Olive and Marjorie; and one nephew, Kip.
