Patricia L. Shirley

Patricia L. "Patsy" Shirley, daughter of Ben and Josie Stetz, was born November 3, 1943 in Omaha, NE. She grew up on a farm outside of Barnesville and graduated from Barnesville High in 1961. She married Larry C. Shirley at Assumption Church in Barnesville on July 27, 1963 and had three children. After raising her family in Moorhead, MN, she spent time in Grand Island, NE and Sioux Falls, SD. She returned to her hometown of Barnesville several years ago to be closer to her mom. Pat enjoyed antiques, collectibles, sewing and crocheting. She also enjoyed working with plants, cooking, baking, playing cards, puzzles and spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her mother Josephine Stetz of Barnesville, MN, two daughters, Micaela Shirley, San Diego, CA, Melinda (Ward) Shirley-Zander of San Diego, CA, two granddaughters, Vanessa and Jessica, and one great grandson, Gage, all of San Diego. She is preceded in death by her father, Ben Stetz, her husband, Larry C Shirley, her brother Robert Stetz and her son Robert Shirley. In lieu of flowers, memorials would be appreciated. Visitation: Friday, November 28, from 5 to 7 in Dobmeier Funeral Home with a prayer service starting at 7. Funeral: Saturday, November 29, at 11 in Assumption Catholic Church, Barnesville MN.
