Marguerite Caroline Nosal

Marguerite Caroline Nosal, 96 of Barnesville, Minnesota died Wednesday, December 15, 2010 in the Good Samaritan Society, Barnesville. Memorial Mass will be in The Assumption Catholic Church, Barnesville on April 30, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. Interment will be in St. Marys Catholic Cemetery, Barnesville. Marguerite, daughter of John and Anna (Gehrig) Tschample, was born May 13, 1914 in Wilkin County, Minnesota where she attended school and grew to womanhood. She was baptized, confirmed and married in the Assumption Catholic Church of Barnesville. Marguerite married Joe J. Nosal on June 20, 1934. The couple made their home and farmed in the Barnesville area where they raised their family. They retired from farming in 1970 and moved into Barnesville. Joe died in 1985. Marguerite continued to live in Barnesville and became a resident of the Barnesville Good Samaritan Society in 2004. She lived there until the time of her death. Marguerite was an active member of the Assumption Catholic Church and St. Anns Guild where she served as president and Circle leader. She is survived by two sons, Benedict (Judy) Nosal of Victoria, Minnesota, Arnold Nosal of Barnesville; four daughters, Arlene Dow of Fargo, Marjorie (Robert) Lemke of Wahpeton, North Dakota, JoAnne (Wayne) Hume of Chandler, Arizona, Rosemary (Larry) Lindholm of Sioux Falls, South Dakota; 18 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, three brothers, John Tschample Jr., Bernard Tschample, Alfred Tschample; two sisters Dorothy Motschenbacher and Teresa Wellman.
