Raymond F Slinger

Raymond F. Slinger, 92 of Barnesville, Minnesota died Tuesday, September 15, 2009 in the Barnesville Good Samaritan Society. Raymond, son of John and Anna (Ziner) Slinger, was born June 6, 1917 in Todd County, near Long Prairie, Minnesota. He attended school and grew to manhood in that area and also farmed in Todd County until 1936. He moved to Wilkin County, Minnesota where he continued to do farm work for area farmers. He also worked as a back hoe operator before retiring around 1960. He moved into Barnesville in 1960 and lived there until the time of his death. A memorial service will be Saturday October 10, 2009 at 2 p.m. in Hope Lutheran Brethren Church, Barnesville with Pastor Rich Iverson officiating. Interment will be at Rosemound Cemetery, Barnesville. Arrangements entrusted to Dobmeier Funeral Home, Barnesville.
