Curtis Ray Johnson, age 50, of Barnesville, Minnesota, formerly of Ogden, Utah, went to heaven on February 11, 2013 after complications due to a severe head injury he sustained back in 2002. Curtis attended high school in Valley City before moving back to Ogden, Utah. Curtis was a construction worker who was a true outdoorsman. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and camping. He also enjoyed bowling, pool, and darts. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends, including his closest friend Jerry (Jane) Martinez in Utah. He is survived by his mother, Shirley Johnson, Barnesville; father, Russell Johnson, Texas; brothers, Greg (Mary), Washington; Rick (Janice), Barnesville; Rex (Susie), Moorhead; sister, Valerie (Tim), Barnesville; daughter, Cheryl, Kansas; 3 grandsons; and many nephews and nieces. Curtis is preceded in death by his uncle, Wayne W. Law. God bless his spirit that has now been set free from 10 years of being in a fixed state. Funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 16, 2013 at Dobmeier Funeral Home Chapel in Barnesville, Minnesota. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the Dobmeier Funeral Home Chapel.
