Jayne Hoppe Lien

Jayne Hoppe Lien, 50, died on Monday, May 18, 2015 at Essentia Hospital in Fargo, ND with her family at her side. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM, Thursday, May 21, 2015 at St. John's Lutheran Church in Barnesville, MN with Pastor Tom Eaves officiating. Burial will follow in Rosemound Cemetery, Barnesville. Visitation will be from 5-8 PM, Wednesday, May 20, 2015 at St. John's Lutheran Church in Barnesville, MN with a Prayer Service at 7:00 PM. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the service. Jayne Elizabeth Hoppe was born on December 30, 1964 to Earl J. and Iris (Edwards) Hoppe in Moorhead, MN. She grew up and attended school in Barnesville graduating in 1983. She attended Interstate Business College in Moorhead. Jayne was a hard working person. During her years, Jayne worked in several places. She was the first and a longtime manager of the Cenex. She was a manager at AmPride in Fargo and for many years, she bartended at the American Legion and Pool Hall in Barnesville, MN. In 2000, Jayne along with a partner Mike Sacrison bought the Pool Hall in Barnesville renaming it Ratzo's. Jayne enjoyed quilting and spent hours designing quilts. Jayne spent hours gardening, making salsa and canning. She loved her grandkids. Jayne has many close friends (too many to name) that she loved and appreciated as well as her customers at the Pool Hall. Jayne is survived by two daughters: Dayna (Derek Mostue) Hoppe of Barnesville and Shelby (Matt) Simon, of Sabin; three grandchildren: Cody Mostue, Brylee & Kamryn Simon, siblings: Karl Hoppe, Barnesville, Steven (Tammy) Hoppe of Sabin, Mark Hoppe of Moorhead, and Susan (Kevin) McGough of Barnesville, several nieces and nephews, other relatives, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents Earl and Iris.
