Angelina (Angie) Quinnild 88, died on Saturday, December 3, 2016 at Elim Nursing Home in Fargo. Funeral Services will be 11:00 AM, Thursday, December 8, 2016 at Comstock Lutheran Church in Comstock, MN with Rev. Jill Steichen officiating. Burial will be in the Comstock Lutheran Cemetery, following lunch. Visitation will be held from 5-8 PM, Wednesday, December 7, 2016 at the Dobmeier Funeral Home in Barnesville. A Prayer Service will be at 7:00 PM. Visitation will continue for one hour prior to the funeral service. Angelina Borgia was born on May 14, 1928 in San Bernardino, CA to Filomena DeMaio and Gaetano Borgia.. At the age of 15 her family moved to Henderson, Nevada where Angie attended school. She was married to Ray Hough and from this union four children were born, Carol, Jeanne, John, and Charles. Angie was a stay at home mom and homemaker throughout her life. She took care of the needs of her family and home faithfully. On November 17, 1973, Angie was united in marriage to Harold Quinnild in Barnesville. They made their home on the Quinnild Family Farm between Moorhead and Comstock for many years. They lived in Fargo for 16 years. She cooked and delivered meals to the workers on the farm and lent a hand wherever needed. A year ago, Angie became a resident at Elim Nursing Home in Fargo. Angie served as Cub Scout leader, Blue Bird leader, was a long time member of St. James United Church of Christ and the Ladies Aid, and for over 50 years has been a member of the American Legion Auxiliary. Angie loved the birthday club gatherings, and she and Harold were avid bowlers. Angie also enjoyed golf. She is survived by her husband Harold of Fargo, ND; 3 children: Jeanne Waalen, Fargo; John (Marcia) Hough, Fargo; Charles Hough, Moorhead, MN; 11 grandchildren: Matthew Kuehl; Aaron (Susan Linhart) Kuehl; Chanda (Philipp) Scherer; Christopher (Wendy) Waalen; Stacy (Mike) McWethy; Dustin (Sara DiGianni) Hough; Paige (Dave) Benson; Quinn Hough; Michael Empting; Jacquie (Steve) Molstre;and Mark Empting; 19 great grandchildren: Addie Kuehl; Maeva Kuehl; Dahlia Larson; Livia Scherer; Sasha Scherer; Rylie Nowacki; Quinn Nowacki; Erin Nowacki; Elijah Hough; Isabella DiGianni; Ruby Hough; Sam Benson; Vivienne Benson; Katelyn Empting; Michael Empting; McKinzie Molstre; Keasha Molstre; Kayla Molstre; and Joseph Molstre. She is also survived by 6 siblings: Charlotte (Wylie Strahan) Negaard; Margaret Hamilton; Richard (Renee) Vincent; Victor Vincent; Sharon (Bill) Skupa; Jimmy Vincent; and sisters-in-law Mary Vincent; Jeannie Daskas; and Darlene Hoppe; many nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. Angie was preceded in death by her daughter Carol Kuehl; her parents; two brothers: Donnie Vincent; and Teddie Daskas; brothers-in-law Doyle Hamilton; Vern (Pearl) Quinnild; and sister-in-law Vivian (Frank) Hoppe.
