Nathan Bohner, 29, of rural Wolverton, MN passed away at his residence on Saturday, May 13, 2017. Funeral Services will be 11:00 AM, Monday, May 22, 2017 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Barnesville with Pastor Tom Eaves officiating. Burial will follow in Deerhorn Cemetery, rural Wolverton. Visitation will be 5-8 PM, Sunday, May 21, 2017 with a Prayer Service at 7:00 PM at Dobmeier Funeral Home in Barnesville, MN. Visitation will continue for one hour prior to the funeral service. Nathan John Bohner was born on April 4, 1988 in Hennepin County, Minneapolis, Minnesota. At 2 ½ months old he met his parents, Don and Jackie Bohner. Nathan was baptized and confirmed at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Barnesville. He was raised on the farm, attending school in Barnesville. While in high school Nathan played the Trombone in the band and was active in drama. He graduated from Barnesville High in 2006. Nathan attended North Dakota State School of Science in Wahpeton for Auto Body. Nathan farmed with his dad and has mowed lawns for many years. He loved demo derbies, wine making, deer hunting and guns. Once in a while he would go fishing. He enjoyed reading and being with people and animals. A hobby he recently took up was tending bee hives. His dog Oscar could be found following Nathan everywhere. Nathan is survived by his parents, Donald and Jackie; several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He is preceded in death by his grandparents: George Bohner; Bill and Dorathy Wolski; and an aunt Winifred Lorass. Nathan's Memorial Folder
