Carl Nord, 64, of Wolverton, MN, died in the country near his home with his family and friends. Born to Bev and Wally Nord in Breckenridge, MN, in 1960, he attended Barnesville Public Schools and the Wolverton Lutheran Church. With his extraordinary work ethic, Carl helped successfully grow the Nord Family Farm and was a leader in the farming community. He was also a diligent and loyal Legend Seed Representative.
Carl enjoyed many activities including playing fast-pitch, darts, hunting, snowmobiling and more throughout his life. He was a passionate MN sports enthusiast, and NDSU Bison fan. He never shied away from a good joke and generously welcomed any and all into his home. His most cherished moments were spent with his family and friends in the mancave and crop touring.
He is survived by his wife Lori; children: Jamie and Harlie; grandchildren: Fiona and Fitzgerald Teahan; parents: Wallace and Beverly Nord; siblings: Jay (Cindy) Nord, Kristi (Kurt) Janssen, Lisa (Mark) Miller; and many loving nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his infant daughter Raven.
A visitation will be held on Friday, September 27, 2024, at Dobmeier Funeral Home in Barnesville, MN, from 5-7 pm, with a prayer service starting at 7:00 pm.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 28, 2024, at Faith Lutheran Church in Wolverton, MN at 2:30 pm with visitation starting one hour prior to the service. Rev. Devlyn Brooks will preside over the services.
