Laura Anne Hensley

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Laura Hensley, Barnesville, MN (formerly of Phoenix, AZ), a truly loving and kind soul. Laura passed away at her home, under the care of hospice, on October 22, 2024, surrounded by loved ones, at the age of 45 years, 9 months, and 11 days.

 Laura was a woman who had a heart that knew no bounds; she had a special place for everyone, from the youngest to the oldest. She found pure joy in caring for others, whether it was through her work as a CNA, providing home health care, or looking after children at the daycare center. Her compassion and warmth touched the lives of many. Two furry companions, Dodge and Popeye, were always by Laura's side, mirroring her loyalty and love. She found solace in their company, just as they found comfort in hers. In her quiet moments, Laura enjoyed cooking, and even learned to bake cherry pie as a special treat for Ken & Jeanette. Her dishes were made with not just ingredients but with love. She also had a passion for hitting the open road, though her heart was always happiest when she was nestled at home, her sanctuary. Laura is survived by her father Jan Hensley (Glendale, AZ); mother Laura Lee Owens (Oregon City, OR); brother Isaac Hensley (Phoenix, AZ); children: Reanna Hensley and grandson Anthony (Soldotna, AK), Matthew Sheehan (Phoenix, AZ), and Lauren Hensley (Oregon City, OR); her loving boyfriend Ethan E. Just (Barnesville, MN), and his extended family, all of whom adored her, including his 6 grandsons whom she had an extra soft spot for.

 God had a special plan for Laura in heaven. He took her home to be with Him before we were ready to let her go, but he also took her pain and struggles away, and for that we are grateful. May we find solace in the beautiful memories we hold of Laura, a woman who touched hearts with her kindness and warmth. Her spirit will live on in the lives she touched, forever cherished and never forgotten. May her memory be blessed.
