Lawrence Thomas Heimark

Lawrence Heimark, 67, of Barnesville, MN, passed away on Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at ValleyCare and Rehab in Barnesville.   Funeral Services will be Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at 11 AM at Dobmeier Funeral Home, Barnesville with Pastor Jim Greene officiating. Interment will be at Lake Ida Cemetery rural Cormorant in the spring of 2018.   Visitation will be one hour prior to funeral at Dobmeier Funeral Home. Lawrence Thomas Heimark was born on February 26, 1950 in Pelican Rapids, MN to Morgan and Adeline Heimark.   Lawrence worked at Snappy in Detroit Lakes, MN for over 14 years, until he got sick and went blind, having to quit work. He made his home in rural Vergas until he had to move to the nursing home.   He is survived by his sons, Chris and Nick both of Perham, MN, daughters, Jena (Danny) Carkhuff and Melissa, also of Perham, one granddaughter and one grandson. He is also survived by three brothers, Melvin (Annette) of Moorhead, Morgan (Jenny) of Sabin, MN, and Harvey of Hunter, ND, two sisters, Sandy Abraham of Vero Beach, FL and Anita Ray of Moorhead, MN and many nieces and nephews.     Lawrence was preceded in death by his parents, Morgan and Adeline, brothers, Ardean, Harold and Roger, and sisters, Marjorie, Betty, Deloris, Joyce and an infant sister.
