Mary Stellmach, 78, passed away at the CentraCare Health Center in Monticello, MN, on Tuesday, January 23, 2018.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 AM, Friday, February 2, 2018 at Assumption Catholic Church in Barnesville with Father Gary LaMoine presiding. Burial will be in the spring in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Barnesville.
Visitation will be one hour prior to Mass on Friday, February 2, 2018.
Mary Katherine Roesch was born on October 12, 1939 to Francis and Vivian Roesch.
Mary married Gordon W. Stellmach on September 29, 1962 at the Catholic Church in Barnesville. They lived at the farm southwest of Barnesville where they raised three children. Mary worked various jobs in and around Barnesville. She spent countless hours growing vegetables and flowers. She was a lifelong member of Assumption Catholic Church. Mary was an active member of St. Ann’s Guild. She had a contagious laugh, a quick smile and loved to give out hugs to all she met.
Mary is survived by three children: Frank, Clearwater, MN, Gordy (Janyce), Becker, MN, and Marlene (Dan) Boutain, Lubbock, TX; 8 grandchildren: Angela Gehrig, Nicole (Seth) Stone, Steven Boutain, Jacob Stellmach, Adam Stellmach, Samantha Stellmach, Wesley Cavegn and Reana Cavegn; 2 great grandchildren: Taylor and Jaxon Stone; siblings Rosanna Gardner, Harold (Karen) Rosech, Howard (Dianna) Roesch, Frank Roesch, Ginger (Bill) Carr, Susan (Kevin) Olene, and Bill (Magie) Roesch. Her nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive her.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband Gordon on July 24, 2015, one sister Vivian Mohs and one brother Michael Roesch, two brothers-in-law Dale Gardner and Arnold Landa and one nephew David Roesch.
